ECT of Science - Enfield Outstanding School

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated Mixed Secondary School in Enfield, North London, is looking for a talented ECT of Science to start their career.

  • Job Title: ECT of Science (Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcome)
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Salary: Paid on the Outer London Teachers' Pay Scale (M1 equivalent), with full ECT support and release time.
  • The Role: The teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE) Science, with potential to teach their specialism at A-Level later in the programme. They will be fully integrated into the Science team, benefiting from dedicated lab technicians and shared resources.

Requirements

  • Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has the right to work in the UK.
  • A specialism in one of the core Sciences.
