The Year 6 Teacher role — what you will do
As the Year 6 Teacher, you will design motivating revision sequences, lead SATs preparation where applicable, develop pupils’ critical thinking and independent writing, and run targeted booster groups. The Year 6 Teacher will monitor progress closely, work with parents to support transition, and collaborate with senior leaders on whole-school improvement projects planned to start around January 2026 and continue after January 2026.

Person specification — Year 6 Teacher
We require a proven Year 6 Teacher with QTS, strong classroom presence and experience of upper KS2 outcomes. The Year 6 Teacher should be organised, reflective and able to coach others; the Year 6 Teacher will lead moderation activities and support transition work in the weeks before and after January 2026.
