A historic independent school in Westminster is seeking an inspirational History Teacher to join their faculty and contribute to the vibrant boarding community from January 2026.

  • History Teacher required from January 2026
  • Westminster-based independent school with a strong academic tradition.
  • Seeking an educator to teach History across the 13+ to 18+ age range, specializing in early modern or global history.

You will teach History at all levels, including A-Level and potentially the IB curriculum. Crucially, this role requires a contribution to the pastoral life of the school, which may include acting as a form tutor or assisting with boarding house duties.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Exceptional subject knowledge and proven track record of academic success.
  • Experience in an independent or boarding school environment is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to holistic education and the school's wider mission and values.
  • Flexibility to contribute to evening and weekend activities/supervision.
