Maths Teacher – Drive Academic Rigour in Pure Mathematics and Achieve Exceptional KS5 Success – Tower Hamlets

A high-achieving and demanding secondary school in Tower Hamlets is recruiting a passionate and experienced Teacher of Maths committed to delivering an intellectually challenging curriculum from January 2026.

  • Maths Teacher required from January 2026
  • Tower Hamlets-based school with an exceptional record of KS5 success.
  • Seeking an experienced educator with a focus on pure mathematics and rigorous pedagogy.

You will teach Maths across KS3-KS5, contributing to advanced curriculum planning, particularly at A-Level. The role requires an ability to motivate high-attaining students and maintain exceptional standards of scholarship within the department.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Mathematics.
  • Proven record of outstanding results in a competitive secondary school environment.
  • Strong ability to teach further maths or advanced statistics is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to running academic extension and competition societies.
