DT Teaching Opportunity - Well-Resourced School - Wakefield

A high quality secondary school in Wakefield is recruiting a Design & Technology Teacher for January 2026. You will be teaching D&T (product design / resistant materials / graphics etc) across KS3 and KS4, with possibility of overseeing special projects or workshops.
• Design & Technology Teacher required from January 2026
• Full-time position in Wakefield in a well-rated school
• Teach D&T across KS3 & KS4

This opportunity is for someone who loves making, designing, problem solving, and enabling students to translate ideas into practical outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications
• QTS with D&T / Engineering / Product Design specialism
• Experience or strong training in secondary teaching, especially in practical workshop contexts
• Skilled in workshop safety, CAD/CAM if applicable, design thinking
• Legal right to work in UK

The school has been consistently rated good-or-better by inspectors and is known to offer a broad curriculum including strong practical and technical subjects.
