The Role
- Position: Year 1 Class Teacher
- Location: Beeston, Nottingham
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
- TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
In this role, you will:
- Lead a Year 1 class with creativity, care and clarity
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that build strong foundations in learning
- Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share planning and best practice
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider school community
- (If applicable) Lead a subject or key area as part of the wider school improvement plan
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with KS1 experience, ideally in Year 1
- A reflective and enthusiastic practitioner with a commitment to child-centred learning
- A warm, positive team player who contributes to a supportive school culture
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
- A teacher who is open to, or ready for, leadership responsibilities (if interested in a TLR)
