A progressive secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking an enthusiastic ECT of History (Year 1 or 2) committed to driving academic rigour from January 2026.

  • ECT: History Teacher required from January 2026

You will teach History across KS3 and GCSE with a reduced timetable and a dedicated mentor. The induction is highly structured, focusing on mastering the delivery of rigorous historical concepts, source analysis, and developing strong essay writing skills, using the department’s shared resources.

Experience and Qualifications

  • QTS or completing final training in History or a related Humanities field
