About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher for maternity cover. You will deliver lessons across Years 1–2, monitor pupil progress, and create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum
  • Supporting pupils’ literacy, numeracy, and social development
  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to support growth
  • Maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, approachable, and creative, with experience in KS1 teaching and excellent classroom management skills. You should have a passion for fostering curiosity and confidence in young learners.

Requirements:

  • QTS or recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching KS1
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Legal right to work in the UK
