About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Year 4 Teacher for a maternity cover role. You will deliver engaging lessons, monitor pupil progress, and foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Year 4 lessons across the curriculum
- Promoting high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
- Assessing pupils and providing constructive feedback to support progress
- Supporting extracurricular activities and school events
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity and high standards in teaching
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, approachable, and committed to helping children flourish. You should have strong classroom management skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to inspire a love of learning.
Requirements:
- QTS or recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 4
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Legal right to work in the UK
