Are you an experienced Year 4 Teacher looking for a Full-Time role with a January 2026 start? A friendly Good primary in Bristol is looking to appoint an ambitious Year 4 Teacher to join its KS2 phase from the January 2026 start. The Year 4 Teacher will be provided with planning time before the January 2026 start, a robust induction at the January 2026 start, and ongoing mentoring following the January 2026 start.

Role highlights — Year 4 Teacher: as the Year 4 Teacher, you will plan engaging, knowledge-rich sequences that develop reasoning, vocabulary and independent writing. The Year 4 Teacher will use formative assessment to personalise learning, lead enrichment and coordinate trips that enhance the curriculum. From the January 2026 start, the Year 4 Teacher will participate in phase planning and moderation and will teach a full timetable as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.

Person specification — Year 4 Teacher: QTS and KS2 experience as a Year 4 Teacher; strong behaviour management and the ability to differentiate confidently; commitment to collaborative practice and parent partnerships. The Year 4 Teacher should be ready to begin pre-term planning before the January 2026 start, attend induction in the weeks of the January 2026 start, and take on a Full-Time timetable from the January 2026 start.
