Design & Technology Teacher Opportunity at an Outstanding School in Gloucester
An Outstanding 11–18 academy in Gloucester is seeking an innovative and hands-on Design & Technology Teacher to join their Technology Department from January 2026.
About the Role
The successful teacher will teach DT across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design, Engineering, or Resistant Materials. They will plan engaging lessons that develop creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills, supporting students in achieving excellent results at GCSE and A-Level.
The teacher will also contribute to enrichment activities such as design exhibitions, engineering challenges, and sustainability projects, helping students understand how design impacts daily life and global innovation.

Experience and Qualifications
- QTS/PGCE and degree in DT, Engineering, or Product Design
- Excellent practical and digital design skills
