Role Overview
As the Reception Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for Reception pupils.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback to children and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the Early Years curriculum.
- Embed the school’s Catholic values throughout teaching and classroom activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in EYFS / Reception, ideally in a faith-based setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively and support the school’s ethos and values.
