Role Overview

As the Reception Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for Reception pupils.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback to children and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the Early Years curriculum.
• Embed the school’s Catholic values throughout teaching and classroom activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in EYFS / Reception, ideally in a faith-based setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively and support the school’s ethos and values.
