KS1 Teacher — Good School — Croydon — January 2026 Start

Overview: A well-regarded Good primary school in Croydon invites applications for a reflective KS1 Teacher to join the KS1 phase on a Part-Time basis from January 2026. This Part-Time KS1 Teacher role is ideal for a practitioner seeking meaningful classroom impact with a balanced timetable. The appointed KS1 Teacher will start planning and handover prior to January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and teach on a Part-Time timetable from January 2026.

(KS1 Teacher) Responsibilities
• The KS1 Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality phonics, literacy and numeracy lessons as the KS1 Teacher.
• The KS1 Teacher will assess pupils, run targeted small-group interventions and report on progress.
• The KS1 Teacher will engage families and lead aspects of phase enrichment, supporting transition from Reception into Key Stage 1 from January 2026.
The Part-Time KS1 Teacher will join weekly planning meetings, attend key CPD sessions in January 2026 and contribute fully to the phase despite the Part-Time timetable.

KS1 Teacher Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent KS1 experience as a KS1 Teacher.
• Strong phonics practice and familiarity with the Early Years–KS1 transition.
• A calm, collaborative KS1 Teacher who models high expectations and inclusive behaviour strategies.
