KS2 Teacher – Good School – Wandsworth – January 2026 Start
An ambitious Good primary in Wandsworth is seeking a motivated KS2 Teacher to join its accomplished Key Stage 2 team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. This KS2 Teacher role offers scope for subject responsibility and curriculum innovation; the successful KS2 Teacher will begin pre-term planning in advance of January 2026, attend induction in January 2026 and be fully teaching from January 2026.
Role summary — KS2 Teacher
The appointed KS2 Teacher will teach across upper or lower KS2 (year group negotiated at interview), delivering ambitious sequences that develop computational thinking in maths and critical reading skills in English. The KS2 Teacher will deploy assessment to inform personalised learning and will lead interventions and mastery groups. The KS2 Teacher will collaborate with subject leads and contribute to whole-school improvement projects starting in January 2026.
KS2 Teacher — responsibilities and impact
• As the KS2 Teacher, plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• As the KS2 Teacher, use assessment data to refine teaching and secure progress.
• As the KS2 Teacher, lead enrichment activities and support cross-phase transition work.
The KS2 Teacher will be expected to model excellent practice, mentor NQTs where appropriate and contribute to departmental training beginning in January 2026.
