We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent on a maternity cover basis. Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
· Plan, deliver, and differentiate lessons for Year 1 students, catering to diverse learning needs.
· Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
· Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
· Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum activities and share best practices.
· Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and wellbeing.
· Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.

Year 1 Teacher Requirements
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Experience teaching in KS1, preferably Year 1.
· Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Passionate about teaching and committed to inspiring children.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
