About the Role
A high-performing 11–18 school in Shropshire is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join its experienced Maths faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for A-Level in the future.
The Department
The Maths department is high-achieving, collaborative and results-driven, with a culture built on shared planning and supportive mentoring. Staff use a range of innovative teaching strategies to develop fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Classrooms are modern and well-equipped with interactive whiteboards, visualisers and digital resources for mathematical modelling. The team runs regular maths challenges and cross-curricular STEM projects to stretch students beyond the curriculum.
