Are you a passionate Music Teacher who inspires creativity through performance and composition?
A welcoming secondary school in Hexham is seeking a full-time Music Teacher to join their expressive arts department from January 2026.

Location: Hexham, Northumberland
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: Paid on the MPS or UPS scale, dependent on experience

About the School:
The school values the arts and has dedicated music facilities, including practice rooms and a recording studio. Music plays a key role in school life.

• Teach Music across KS3 and KS4, with potential A-Level involvement
• Lead ensembles, choirs, and school concerts

Your Role:
• Deliver engaging Music lessons covering performance, theory, and composition
• Organise concerts and musical events
• Promote music through enrichment activities and clubs
• Support cross-curricular links with Drama and Dance

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold QTS with a Music or Performing Arts specialism
• Have experience teaching Music at secondary level
• Be able to lead extra-curricular musical activities
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
