About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive School Business Manager to oversee the school’s financial, operational, and administrative management. This is a key leadership role, working closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure the efficient and effective running of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage finance, budgeting, and resource planning
- Oversee HR, premises, and health & safety compliance
- Lead on procurement, contracts, and administrative systems
- Support the Headteacher with strategic development and school improvement planning
- Ensure efficient use of school resources to maximise value for money
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a School Business Manager or similar role
- Strong financial and administrative management skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities
- Proficiency with school management systems and finance software (e.g., FMS, SIMS, or similar)
- The legal right to work in the UK
