About the Role
A large, high-achieving secondary school in south Birmingham is seeking an inspiring and committed Music Teacher to join its thriving Creative Arts faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position offers the chance to teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, and to contribute to a department with a strong reputation for performance, collaboration and enrichment.

The Department and Facilities
The Music department plays a central role in the life of the school. From choirs and instrumental groups to full-scale productions, the performing arts are a genuine strength here. You’ll benefit from:

About You
You’ll bring:
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification in Music
- Strong musicianship and classroom practice with experience across a range of musical styles
- The ability to deliver engaging, practical lessons that develop creativity and confidence
- A commitment to maintaining the high standards and inclusive ethos that define the department
- Enthusiasm for contributing to whole-school events and community engagement through music
