Are you a History ECT eager to inspire students with stories of the past?
A supportive secondary school in Sheffield is recruiting a full-time History ECT to join from January 2026. 
Location: Sheffield
Start Date: January 2026 
Salary: Paid on the ECT scale as per national guidance

About the School:
The school offers excellent mentorship for ECTs and encourages innovative teaching methods. The History department is well-resourced and collaborative.

Your Role:
• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons
• Encourage analysis of historical events and sources

• Participate in ECT training and whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold QTS and be within their first two years of teaching (ECT)
• Be passionate about History and student progress
• Be committed to professional development
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
