Are you a French ECT ready to start your teaching journey?

A welcoming secondary school in Lincolnshire is recruiting a full-time French ECT from January 2026. 
Location: Lincolnshire
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: Paid on the ECT scale as per national guidance

About the School:
The school supports ECTs through strong mentorship and offers well-resourced MFL departments with cultural enrichment activities.

• Teach French across KS3 and KS4
• Develop language teaching skills with experienced mentors
• Participate in cultural and extracurricular activities

Your Role:
• Deliver engaging French lessons to encourage language acquisition
• Support student progress with formative assessments
• Take part in departmental and whole-school planning
• Engage in ECT professional development programmes

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold QTS and be an ECT with a specialism in French or equivalent
• Be enthusiastic about language teaching and student progress
• Have effective classroom management skills
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
