History Teacher – Instil Rigorous Historical Inquiry with a Focus on Global Perspectives – Manchester (Independent)

A leading independent day school in Manchester is seeking an ambitious History Teacher committed to rigorous analysis and a broad range of Global Perspectives from January 2026.

The role involves teaching History across KS3–KS5 (A-Level and possibly IB), with a focus on non-Western and Global Perspectives alongside British depth studies. You will be expected to run academic extension clubs and contribute to the school's rigorous academic ethos, preparing students for top university courses.

Experience and Qualifications

  • QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) and a degree in History or a relevant global studies field.
