An Outstanding primary school in Kingston seeks a motivated Year 4 Teacher to lead a year group from January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher will be part of a phase team that plans creative, knowledge-rich units aimed at deepening pupils’ reasoning and independence. Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities

• The Year 4 Teacher will plan and deliver a challenging, well-sequenced curriculum that builds mathematical reasoning and comprehension.
• The Year 4 Teacher will use assessment to inform targeted support and stretch higher-attaining pupils.
• The Year 4 Teacher will lead trips, run enrichment clubs and take part in parent consultations from January 2026.
• The Year 4 Teacher will work with teaching assistants to ensure differentiated provision for all learners.

Year 4 Teacher Requirements

• QTS and proven KS2 experience as a Year 4 Teacher.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to model excellent practice as a Year 4 Teacher.
• The Year 4 Teacher should be ready to take a Full-Time role starting January 2026 and to engage fully with induction and CPD in January 2026.
