A well-regarded secondary school in Cambridge is seeking a passionate History ECT to join its Humanities department from January 2026.

ECT: History Teacher required from January 2026
Cambridge-based school with a welcoming ethos and structured early-career support.
Perfect for an aspiring historian seeking to inspire curiosity and analytical thinking in KS3–KS4 learners.

You will teach History across KS3 and KS4, supported by a detailed induction plan and weekly mentor meetings.

Experience and Qualifications

  • QTS or completing teacher training in History or Humanities.
  • Enthusiasm for inclusive, inquiry-based learning.
  • Eagerness to participate in collaborative CPD and curriculum design.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
