The Role
Position: Reception Teacher

TLR: Available for Subject or Phase Leadership (for the right candidate)

As our Reception Teacher, you will:

• Lead a Reception class, providing a rich play-based curriculum.
• Support children’s early literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
• Assess learning and ensure progress for all children.
• Create a classroom culture that is safe, welcoming, and stimulating.
• Work closely with parents, colleagues, and support staff.
• (If applicable) Take on subject or phase leadership responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching Reception or EYFS.
• Understand early years curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy.
• Are reflective, organised, and excellent communicators.
• Demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to inclusion.
• Are open to leadership responsibilities if seeking a TLR.
