Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, practical, and theoretical Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level).
• Inspire students to pursue STEM subjects at the highest level, fostering analytical and problem-solving skills in the laboratory and classroom.
• Contribute to the whole-school science culture, potentially leading projects, academic societies, or STEM enrichment activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Science department to ensure curriculum coherence and excellent teaching quality across all ability ranges.
• Effectively assess, monitor, and report on student progress to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Requirements

• A degree in Physics or a related scientific/engineering discipline, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Demonstrable success in teaching Physics to A-Level and a history of achieving high value-added results.
• Excellent laboratory management skills and a commitment to safe, engaging practical science instruction.
