We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join our inclusive and high-achieving primary school in Hackney, East London, from January 2026. This is a permanent position, open to full-time and part-time applicants, with potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate.

The Role

Position: Year 4 Class Teacher
Location: Hackney, East London
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered
TLR: Available for Subject or Phase Leadership (for the right candidate)

As our Year 4 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire curiosity and deepen understanding
• Provide clear assessment and feedback to support all pupils in achieving their potential
• Foster a classroom culture of respect, inclusion, and high expectations
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure consistency and shared best practice
• (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase area as part of a TLR opportunity

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
• Are committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning
• Possess strong organisational and communication skills
• Are reflective, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute to school life
• Are open to taking on subject or phase leadership responsibilities (if seeking a TLR)
