The Outstanding Salford school seeks a KS2 Teacher who will commence teaching in January 2026. The successful KS2 Teacher will start in January 2026 and will be part of a high-performing KS2 team. This Full-Time KS2 Teacher position provides the scope to influence curriculum planning and assessment practice across upper and lower KS2. The KS2 Teacher will also play a role in school improvement priorities from January 2026.
Key duties for the KS2 Teacher
• Teach whole-class KS2 lessons as the KS2 Teacher, delivering engaging sequences and differentiation.
• As a KS2 Teacher, use assessment and data analytics to secure progress and close gaps.
• The KS2 Teacher will support extra-curricular provision and lead interventions.
• Work collaboratively as a KS2 Teacher with subject leads to refine curriculum.
Candidate profile — the KS2 Teacher we want
• QTS and demonstrable KS2 teaching success as a KS2 Teacher.
• The ideal KS2 Teacher will be resilient, data-driven and creative in pedagogy.
• Proven ability to work in an Outstanding context and to inspire learners.
This is a Full-Time KS2 Teacher role; the Full-Time KS2 Teacher will have access to excellent CPD and leadership mentoring. The contract is Full-Time and the start date is set for January 2026 — applications are welcomed now for the January 2026 intake.
