Science Teacher Needed in Durham!

An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Durham is looking to appoint a Science Teacher from January 2026. The school is known for its strong academic outcomes and emphasis on practical science teaching.

  • Full-time Science teaching role
  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Any specialism considered: Biology, Chemistry or Physics

You will join a collaborative department with modern labs and access to regular CPD. ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

Requirements

  • QTS and Science subject knowledge at KS3 and KS4
  • Ability to deliver both theory and practical lessons confidently
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Salary
MPS or UPS, depending on experience
