Religious Education Teacher – Independent Girls’ School in the West Midlands
An opportunity has arisen for a Religious Education Teacher to join a high-performing independent girls’ school in Birmingham. This is a full-time role beginning in January, teaching across KS3–KS5 (GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics). The successful candidate will join a supportive and successful Humanities department in a school with an outstanding reputation for academic achievement and pastoral care.

Religious Education and Philosophy are core strengths of the school curriculum. In 2023, 84% of GCSE candidates achieved grades 7–9 in Religious Studies, while 87% of A-Level students secured grades A*–B. Requirements
• Qualified Teacher of Religious Education (QTS, PGCE or equivalent considered)
• Ability to teach RE across GCSE and A-Level, with Philosophy/Ethics experience desirable
• Strong subject knowledge and commitment to academic excellence
• Enthusiastic, organised, and able to inspire pupils to think critically about global issues
• Legal right to work in the UK
