History Teacher – Independent School in Staffordshire
Our client is looking for a History Teacher to join a thriving independent school in Lichfield. This is a full-time position to begin in January, teaching across KS3–KS5 (GCSE and A-Level History).

The successful History Teacher will join a close-knit Humanities faculty with excellent support, modern teaching spaces, and a long tradition of strong academic results. History is one of the school’s most popular options at GCSE and A-Level, with recent results showing 82% of pupils achieving grades 7–9 at GCSE and 88% A*–B at A-Level. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a school where behaviour is excellent, lessons are stimulating, and pupils are eager to learn. This is a permanent position beginning in January.
Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified History Teacher with QTS (PGCE, QTLS or equivalent considered)
• Strong subject knowledge at GCSE and A-Level, ideally with experience teaching coursework components
• Passionate about enriching pupils’ understanding of history and global citizenship
• Creative, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Legal right to work within the UK
