The Role

• Position: KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher (Year group flexible based on experience)
• Location: South Ockendon, Essex
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
• TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate

You will:

• Teach a well-supported class in KS1 or KS2, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
• Foster independence, creativity, and curiosity in your pupils
• Contribute to a collaborative year group partnership and wider school initiatives
• Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development through effective assessment and planning
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
• (If applicable) Take on responsibility for a subject or phase, contributing to curriculum development and staff confidence

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in KS1 or KS2
• A reflective, passionate practitioner who puts children at the heart of everything they do
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
• A team player who contributes to a positive, inclusive school culture
• ECTs and experienced teachers are equally welcome to apply
• Ambition to grow professionally and (if desired) take on additional responsibility
