The Role
- Position: KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher (Year group flexible based on experience)
- Location: South Ockendon, Essex
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
- TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate
You will:
- Teach a well-supported class in KS1 or KS2, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
- Foster independence, creativity, and curiosity in your pupils
- Contribute to a collaborative year group partnership and wider school initiatives
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development through effective assessment and planning
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
- (If applicable) Take on responsibility for a subject or phase, contributing to curriculum development and staff confidence
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in KS1 or KS2
- A reflective, passionate practitioner who puts children at the heart of everything they do
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- A team player who contributes to a positive, inclusive school culture
- ECTs and experienced teachers are equally welcome to apply
- Ambition to grow professionally and (if desired) take on additional responsibility
