The Role
- Position: Nursery Teacher (Ages 3–4)
- Location: Slough, Berkshire
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
In this role, you will:
- Lead and inspire a group of Nursery children through purposeful play and structured learning
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS Framework
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional development
- Foster communication, early language, phonics, and early numeracy skills
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support each child's progress
- Work closely with early years colleagues and contribute to the wider school life
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a passionate, nurturing and highly organised Nursery Teacher with the ability to create a joyful, calm and inspiring early years environment.
You will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYTS/EYPS
- Experience working in Nursery or EYFS settings (within school or private nursery settings)
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and pedagogy
- A warm, caring and child-centred approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team-player mindset with a collaborative, flexible attitude
