Our client invites applications for an ECT Design Technology Teacher to join a progressive, well-equipped secondary school in Leicester. This full-time, permanent position begins January 2026.

This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher eager to develop skills in delivering practical, project-based DT education across KS3 and KS4. The curriculum includes product design, textiles, and resistant materials, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. The school promotes positive student behaviour and active engagement, supported by strong pastoral care and staff wellbeing initiatives. Full induction and mentoring are available for ECTs.
Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Design Technology Teacher with QTS or working towards it
• Experience or enthusiasm for KS3 and KS4 DT delivery
• Commitment to inclusive and creative teaching approaches
• Legal entitlement to work in the UK
