Are you a newly qualified Art Teacher looking to begin your teaching career in a supportive and creative school? A popular secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic Art ECT to join its team from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent induction support and the chance to inspire students through creativity and expression.

The Role

  • Full-time Art Teacher (ECT) role starting January 2026

  • Teach Art across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to develop into KS5 teaching as experience grows

  • Access to a structured ECT induction programme with a dedicated mentor and tailored CPD

  • Opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities such as exhibitions, clubs, and creative workshops

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified Art ECT with PGCE/QTS (or pending qualification)

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach engaging lessons that encourage creativity and independence

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Passion for contributing to the wider life of the school through exhibitions, clubs, or trips

  • Commitment to professional growth and collaborative working
