A successful secondary school in Reading is looking to appoint a dedicated Art Teacher from January 2026. The Role
Full-time Art Teacher position, starting January 2026
Teach Art across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute at KS5
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of artistic media and techniques
Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as exhibitions, creative workshops, and community arts projects

What We’re Looking For
QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) in Art or a related subject
Ability to teach Art across the secondary age range, with creativity and enthusiasm
Strong subject knowledge across traditional and contemporary art forms
Commitment to fostering creativity, independence, and resilience in students
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
