A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and dedicated Psychology and Sociology Teacher to join a Good mixed secondary school in Slough from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach both Psychology and Sociology across Key Stages 4 and 5, contributing to a thriving and academically ambitious Social Sciences department.

The Role
As a Psychology and Sociology Teacher, you will:

  • Support enrichment opportunities such as psychology clubs, essay competitions, and university outreach projects.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related subject.
  • QTS or PGCE and ability to teach both subjects up to A-Level.
  • Strong classroom management and effective communication skills.
  • Commitment to raising achievement and developing a love of learning.

Salary
Paid to scale (MPS/UPS), commensurate with experience.
