Are you an inspiring Biology Teacher with a passion for the natural sciences and hands-on learning?

A thriving secondary school in Dorset is seeking a motivated Biology Teacher to join its Science Department from January 2026. This role offers the chance to teach Biology from KS3 to KS5 in a well-resourced department with strong academic results.

This Ofsted ‘Good’ 11–18 school has approximately 1,100 students, including a popular Sixth Form of 250. The school has a strong record of success, with 70% of students achieving grades 9–5 in English and Maths at GCSE and Biology performing particularly well at A-level, with 65% of students achieving grades A*–B.

The Biology Department benefits from specialist laboratories, ecological learning spaces including greenhouses and outdoor classrooms, and advanced microscopes and data-collection tools. Your Role:

  • Hold a degree in Biology or a related subject.

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
