Music Teacher Opportunity at an Ambitious School in Wiltshire!
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Wiltshire. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026, offering the chance to teach Music across KS3–KS5. The successful candidate will help nurture pupils’ creativity, performance skills, and appreciation of music, while playing an important role in the school’s lively and ambitious cultural life.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an ECT or an experienced teacher to join a thriving Music Department that places performance, inclusivity, and excellence at its core.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach engaging and well-planned Music lessons across all key stages.
- Inspire students to develop skills in performance, composition, and music theory.
- Contribute to the department’s wide range of co-curricular opportunities, including choirs, orchestras, ensembles, and annual productions.
- Prepare students for external exams and support those aiming to pursue music at conservatoires and universities.
- Help to promote Music within the school community through concerts, showcases, and cross-departmental projects.
- Support the use of technology in Music teaching, including digital composition and recording.

About You
- Degree in Music or a related subject.
- PGCE or QTS.
