About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving, high-achieving secondary school in Bristol. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3–5, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage curiosity, independent learning, and practical problem-solving. This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking strong support, or for an experienced Science Teacher looking to contribute to a forward-thinking and ambitious department.
You will be joining a Science faculty with a reputation for academic strength, innovation, and collaboration, where staff work together to continually refine teaching practice and inspire students to achieve their very best.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver well-structured and high-quality Science lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Encourage students to think critically, develop practical skills, and apply scientific concepts to real-world contexts.
- Track, monitor, and assess pupil progress, providing targeted interventions and feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the integration of technology into lessons.
- Support enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, national competitions, science fairs, and trips to universities and industry partners.
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school, including open evenings, cross-curricular projects, and community events.

About You
- Degree in Science or a related field.
- QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
- Ability to teach Science at KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable).
