Are you a passionate History Teacher eager to bring the past to life and help students develop critical thinking skills?
A respected and forward-thinking secondary school in Halifax is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join its successful Humanities faculty. This full-time role begins in January 2026 and offers the chance to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with scope for A-level teaching depending on experience.

Your Role:
- Teach History across KS3 and GCSE, with opportunities to teach A-level for the right candidate.

- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to support all learners.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS and a relevant degree in History or a related subject.
- Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 History (KS5 desirable).
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to student achievement.
- Be a confident, reflective practitioner with strong classroom management.
- Be legally eligible to work in the UK.
