About the Role This well-regarded, co-educational Secondary School in Hampshire is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher for a permanent, full-time position commencing January 2026. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons, fostering strong foundational knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Organise and execute practical experiments safely and effectively, encouraging analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Track student progress diligently, utilising assessment data to provide targeted intervention and support high levels of attainment at GCSE.
- Contribute actively to the wider school life, supporting co-curricular clubs and departmental initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute positively to the school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a relevant degree specialism in a Science discipline.
- Proven ability to teach a stimulating curriculum and achieve strong student outcomes across KS3 and KS4.
- A commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and working as part of a dedicated team.
- Strong classroom management skills and a clear focus on rigour within the learning environment.
