This is a high-achieving 11–18 mixed comprehensive school with an enrolment of approximately 1,500 pupils, including a vibrant Sixth Form of over 400 students. The Music Department is housed in a purpose-built block, offering:

Experience and Qualifications required for this Music Teacher position
Degree in Music or a closely related subject
PGCE or QTS
Ability to teach Music at KS3/4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for music-making
Willingness to contribute fully to choirs, orchestras, and school performances
Salary
This Music Teacher role will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS) on a permanent contract. Additional allowances may be available for candidates who take on wider responsibilities within the department or co-curricular programme.
