We are delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire that is looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teacher from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about supporting children in the early years of their school journey.
The school is seeking a teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and strong curriculum knowledge to inspire and engage young learners.
KS1 Teacher Role

KS1 Teacher Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
· Support pupils’ transition from EYFS to KS1 and nurture their early academic progress.
· Monitor and assess children’s progress, setting clear and ambitious targets.
· Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to year group and whole-school planning.
· Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support learning at home.
KS1 Teacher Requirements
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Recent experience teaching in KS1.
· Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· A reflective, adaptable, and creative approach to teaching.
· Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding.
