EYFS Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for EYFS pupils.
• Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan activities and share best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding children’s development and progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required.

EYFS Teacher Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in EYFS or Reception classes.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Commitment to professional development and working collaboratively in a team.
