Science ECT Opportunity – Supportive Secondary School in Oxford

A supportive and ambitious secondary school in Oxford is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science ECT to join their thriving department from January 2026. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher looking to start their career in a high-achieving environment with excellent support and development opportunities. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while receiving mentoring to help establish themselves in the profession.

Key Details
• Full-time, permanent Science ECT role starting January 2026
• Secondary school in Oxford with strong Science outcomes
• Deliver lessons across KS3–KS4 with opportunities to develop KS5 teaching experience
• Comprehensive induction and mentoring programme for ECTs

Experience and Qualifications
• PGCE in Science with QTS (or due to be awarded QTS by January 2026)
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for inspiring young scientists
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons that motivate learners
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
• Legal right to work in the UK
