The Role

The school is looking for a qualified Maths Teacher with experience teaching across all key stages, up to A-Level. The successful candidate will be passionate about making mathematics accessible and engaging, fostering deep understanding and numerical confidence in every student. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Mathematics to students from Key Stage 3 (KS3) through to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
• Developing and implementing a rigorous curriculum that prepares students thoroughly for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Utilizing various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities, from foundational arithmetic to advanced calculus.
• Monitoring student progress, providing targeted interventions, and setting challenging goals to ensure maximum attainment.
• Collaborating with the supportive Maths department team to share resources and contribute to continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this rewarding position, you should have:

• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level, with a strong ability to teach at A-Level.
• A passion for the subject and a commitment to helping every student build confidence in their mathematical abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Salary & Application

The salary for this position is competitive and will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale (Inner London pay scale), commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
