The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 teacher who is passionate about early learning and building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy.

• Teaching focus: Take full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum.
• Support structure: Benefit from a well-resourced classroom, dedicated teaching assistant, and close collaboration with a parallel Year 2 teacher.
• Planning & assessment: Schemes of work and resources are in place; collaborative planning is part of the year group’s routine.

• Qualified teacher with QTS and recent experience in Key Stage 1

• Organised, reflective, and proactive in approach
• Familiarity with continuous assessment and tracking pupil progress
