We are seeking a talented and dedicated Maths Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in the beautiful Cranleigh area of Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a high-achieving school known for its strong academic results and supportive community. The position is available for a January 2026 start.

The Role

The school is looking for a qualified Maths Teacher with experience teaching across all key stages, up to A-Level. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making mathematics accessible and engaging for all students, fostering a deep understanding and love for the subject. You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality, inspiring Maths lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to A-Level.
  • Developing and implementing a challenging curriculum that prepares students for both examinations and real-world applications.
  • Supporting and mentoring students, helping them to build confidence and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated team of colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the department's continued success.
  • Contributing to the school's vibrant extracurricular program, such as a maths club or tutoring sessions.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this rewarding position, you should have:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level, with a strong ability to teach at A-Level.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping every student succeed.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Salary & Application

The salary for this position is competitive and will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
