We're currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Battersea, within the borough of Wandsworth. The Role

The school is looking for a qualified Psychology Teacher with proven experience teaching the subject at both GCSE and A-Level. The ideal candidate will be adept at making complex theories and research methods accessible and engaging for all students. You will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality, thought-provoking lessons that cover a wide range of psychological topics and approaches.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that challenges students to think critically about human behaviour.
• Guiding students through research methods, data analysis, and essay writing skills.
• Providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential in examinations and coursework.
• Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve the department's resources and teaching strategies.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this rewarding position, you should have:

• A degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
• Proven experience teaching Psychology at the secondary school level, with a strong focus on A-Level.
• A comprehensive understanding of the major psychological theories, studies, and debates.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Salary & Application

The salary for this position is competitive and will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale (Inner London pay scale), commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
